Michael Carlo has been performing across central New Jersey, New York City and beyond for more than twenty years. Though he now performs mostly as an acoustic, solo act, he has been a part of numerous bands, playing a wide array of cover songs and original music. Michael utilizes his abilities as a vocalist and guitar player to seamlessly blend popular music from the 1960s through the 2000s. Alongside standards such as Brown Eyed Girl, Margaritaville and Fly Me to the Moon, Michael mixes in less frequently heard tunes from groups like Weezer, REM, The Cars and Foo Fighters. He highlights numerous songs from popular acts like The Beatles and The Eagles as well as artists Bob Dylan, Neil Young and Paul Simon. Michael strives to play songs faithfully to the original compositions when possible, while putting his own spin on selections that are not traditionally arranged for a solo-performer.
